FASA

At The Heart of the Community

Charity Shops

Former Miss Northern Ireland browses for a Bargain

FASA opened their Charity Shop in Market Street, Bangor in December 2010 and have had amazing support from the local community.  This social economy element to FASA was developed to support services specifically in the North Down and Ards area.

The shop at present is ran totally with local volunteers with Lorraine Coffey as Voluntary Shop Manager, supported by Andrea, Eddie and Margaret.  It is so successful due to the overall look of the shop which learn’t its design and layout from TV series “Mary Queen of Charity Shops”.

Also we have partnered with an amazing textile recycling company who  also have the community at heart… 100% of their profits go directly back into local community projects – CRI (Community Recycling Initiative) is the only non for profit textile recycling organisation in Northern Ireland – ensuring your donation is 100% charity!!

This is an excellent way to support our services and we welcome donations on a daily basis – just call in or phone and we can organise a collection – 028 9127 1322.

Thank you to everyone who has made this venture such a success

especially the local community who have supported us!

We are now looking to extend our retail element in the near future – so look out for us in other areas.
